The Allied Health Sciences Department of NICHE, Kanyakumari, organized a Dengue Fever Awareness Program at Tenkara Panchayat. The event aimed to educate the community about dengue fever, its prevention, and the importance of early detection. Mrs. Latha Mani, the President of Tenkara Panchayat, inaugurated the program. In her opening speech, she emphasized the significance of community participation in combating dengue fever and appreciated the efforts of NICHE in organizing such a vital awareness initiative. The program featured a vibrant flash mob performed by the students, which attracted significant attention and set an energetic tone for the event. The flash mob was followed by awareness classes that highlighted the causes, symptoms, and preventive measures for dengue fever. Key attendees included Dr. Arokya Silva Saoja and Mr. Suresh Babu K., who provided insights during the awareness sessions.
