Noorul Islam Centre for Higher Education witnessed a vibrant display of artistic prowess as the curtains rose on NICHE Arts Fest Pravaha 24. The much-anticipated event was inaugurated with great pomp and splendor by the renowned South Indian film actor Ajmal Amir on April 17th at 10:30 am. This year's cultural fest, named Pravaha 24, stands as a testament to the students' relentless dedication to not only academic excellence but also to the pursuit of extracurricular and co-curricular activities. The festival, organized by the university, showcased a seamless blend of talent, creativity, and enthusiasm. A highlight of the event was a grand art show, inaugurated by none other than South Indian film actor Ajmal Amir, alongside University Vice Chancellor Dr. Tessy Thomas. The distinguished presence of Pro-Vice Chancellor K. A. Janardhanan, Registrar Thirumalvalavan, and Noorul Islam Education Trust member Fatima Mizaj added to the grandeur of the occasion. Pravaha 24 Coordinator Dr. P.K. Praseetha steered the proceedings with finesse, ensuring a smooth flow of events. Ajmal Amir’s interaction with the students infused an extra dose of energy into the atmosphere as he regaled them with his melodious renditions. The festivities reached their zenith as Ajmal Amir honored the students and student groups who clinched top honors in various art competitions, presenting them with prizes and shields. The cultural extravaganza unfolded with captivating performances, including student cultural group dances, traditional dance displays, musical bands, fusion group songs, and a mesmerizing fashion show. The success of NICHE Arts Fest Pravaha 24 was a collective effort, spearheaded by university officials, directors, deans, coordinators, heads of departments, teachers, office workers, and human resources personnel. Their dedication and meticulous planning, under the guidance of University Chancellor Dr. A P Majeed Khan and Pro-Chancellor MS Faizal Khan, ensured a memorable and unforgettable event for all attendees. As the curtains draw to a close on NICHE Arts Fest Pravaha 24, it leaves behind a trail of inspiration, creativity, and camaraderie, setting the stage for future endeavors in the realm of arts and culture.
