Sitharam, AICTE chairman and former Director of IIT Guwahati, gave the convocation address. he said that with disruptive innovations in the area of ICT and mobile technologies, a generative Al tool such as ChatGPT can replace human beings in many jobs. Many jobs will vanish and new job profiles will be created. It is very important for students to update themselves continuously, learn new skills, and continuous learning is imperative.
