The Green Energy and ECO Club, NICHE along with students agreed to plant a tree in the campus of NICHE on account of World Natural Conservation Day on 28th July 2023. Prof. Dr. N. Richard Kennedy, Horticultural Scientist, TNAU, Coimbatore is the chief guest of this event. Shri. K. Suresh Babu, First year Activity Coordinator welcomed Dr. R. Perumalsamy, Pro-Chancellor(Academic), Dr. A. K. Kumaraguru, Vice Chancellor, Dr. P. Thirumalvalavan, Registrar and Dr. K.A Janardhanan, Pro-Vice Chancellor (Administration). Vice Chancellor of NICHE Dr. A. K. Kumaraguru welcomed the chief guest. Additionally, keynote guest Prof. Dr. N. Richard Kennedy discussed the value of newly planted trees in the ecosystem.
