Dr. D. M. Mary Synthia Regis Prabha, Associate Professor, Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Kumaracoil has been appreciated by our chancellor Janab. Dr. A. P. Majeed khan for the title of the Design Patent: SOLAR POWERED OXYGEN DEPLETION LEVEL ALERTING DEVICE. Crowded and closed areas such as theatres, malls, super markets etc. are at a greater risk of the depletion in oxygen level. A Solar Powered Oxygen Level Alerting Device is designed which works on the solar power and is beneficial in remote places where there is a lack of grid connected power supply. The novelty resides in the shape and its configuration.
