Launched NICHE - Defense Training Academy at Noorul Islam Centre for Higher Education for the first time in a South Indian University with the aim of providing systematic and pragmatic training to the budding engineering graduates of the University who aspire to become commissioned officers in the Indian Armed Forces. The required training will be provided by the training faculty comprising of military and civilian trainers. Eight more MoUs signed with reputed industries including Central Bharat Sevak Samaj (CBSS), Institute of Biology and Clinical Research, Academy for Mountaineering and Adventure Sports, JP College of Engineering, Cyrix Healthcare Pvt Ltd, Clinbiocare Technology, CNK Digital Land Survey. The MoUs are signed with the aim of providing in-plant training, industry internships/projects, training programs to the staff/students, placement etc., in their respective fields.
