About Institution's Innovation Council

Institution's Innovation Council of Noorul Islam Centre for Higher Education, was formed in the year 2018. It is approved by Ministry of Education (MoE), Govt. of India. It aims to inculcate the spirit of innovation among the students, encourage and support innovations through guidance and mentorship and students will be encouraged to take up innovative projects for the benefit of society/industry.

Aim

Its principal aim is to encourage the students of NICHE to pursue their innovative ideas. The Innovation Council is a student-centric venture; the students will be involved in undertaking various initiatives to nurture grass-root innovations and spread their importance to society/industry.

Objectives

To nurture the students to bring out their hidden talents
To build a strong innovation culture and create an atmosphere for innovation
To encourage young creative minds by providing guidance and mentorship
To facilitate interaction between the teaching / student communities and grass-root innovators
To provide a perfect platform for showcasing their skills
To put students in group projects
To forward innovative ideas to get funded projects
To commercialise innovative ideas of young brains
To guide students to file patents
To make indigenous product designs
To incubate students’ ideas/themes
To promote students start-ups
To conduct innovative competitions
To motivate the students to participate in competitions like Smart India Hackathon etc.
To get very good ranking in Atal Ranking of Institutions on Innovation Achievement instituted by MHRD, Govt. of India
To conduct all the activities (Leadership Talks, IPR Workshops, etc.) prescribed by MHRD Innovation Council
