Dr. Tessy Thomas Honoured with Lifetime Achievement Award at ET NOW Machinist Super Shopfloor Awards 2025

Dr. Tessy Thomas, Vice Chancellor of Noorul Islam Centre for Higher Education (NICHE), Kanyakumari, and renowned as the Missile Woman of India, was bestowed the prestigious Lifetime Achievement of the Year Award 2025 at the ET NOW Machinist Super Shopfloor Awards, held at Roseate House, Aerocity, New Delhi. Organized by Worldwide Media, a part of The Times Group, this distinguished red-carpet event is India’s premier platform celebrating excellence in the discrete manufacturing sector. Dr. Thomas was recognized for her groundbreaking contributions to India’s defence and aerospace programs, notably as Project Director of Agni-IV and former Director General (Aeronautical Systems), DRDO.
