The Noorul Islam Centre for Higher Education (NICHE), Kanyakumari, hosted the International Conference on the Future of Connected Systems – IoT, AI & 5G (FoCS 2025) at the AC Auditorium. Organized by the Departments of Computer Science and Engineering and Software Engineering, the event featured over 100 researchers presenting innovative papers on IoT architecture, 5G applications, AI-driven systems, and cybersecurity. Dr. K. A. Janardhanan, Pro Vice-Chancellor, delivered the inaugural address, while Dr. R. Perumalsami, Pro-Chancellor, presided with a presidential address. Dr. V. G. Renjith, Head of CSE, extended a warm welcome, and Dr. J. P. Jayan, Organizing Chair, presented the conference report. Chief Guest Prof. S. Margret Vijay from Villa College, Maldives, and Keynote Speaker Dr. Lyerinsha S. R from the University of West of England, UK, shared transformative insights. Dr. J. E. Judith introduced the vision, and Dr. Venifa Mini concluded with a vote of thanks. FoCS 2025 fostered global collaboration and showcased cutting-edge innovations, reinforcing NICHE’s commitment to advancing connected systems research.
