The Department of Fire Technology recently undertook an immersive Basic Fire Fighting Training program at Cochin Shipyard Limited, providing 15 students with invaluable hands-on experience in fire prevention, hazard identification, and risk assessment. Students engaged in practical sessions, mastering the use of fire extinguishers, hoses, and other essential firefighting tools, while being introduced to cutting-edge fire safety equipment used in modern shipyard environments.
