From Script to Screen: Hands-on Filmmaking Workshop at NICHE

The Sukumari School of Multimedia and Film Technology at NICHE successfully conducted a two-day workshop titled 'Script to Screen', led by renowned filmmaker Shri. Santhosh Viswanath. The event offered students an immersive experience in filmmaking, guiding them through the creative journey from conceptualizing scripts to producing short films.

The workshop was inaugurated by Vice-Chancellor Dr. Tessy Thomas, alongside Dr. Janarthanan, Pro Vice-Chancellor (Administration), and Dr. Shajin Nargunam, Pro Vice-Chancellor (Academic), who marked the commencement of shooting with a ceremonial clap. Guided by Course Mentor Mr. V.N. Pradeep and coordinated by Head of Department Ms. V. Kavitha along with faculty members Mr. B. Arun, Mr. Salin Dhas C.S, and Mr. Rajeevlal Raju, the workshop fostered collaboration as students took on diverse roles to create compelling short films.

This engaging and productive workshop enriched participants' knowledge and skills, providing them with a real-world perspective on filmmaking.
