1999 Batch Alumni Silver Jubilee Celebration at NICHE Kanyakumari

The alumni meeting of the 1999 batch of Noorul Islam College of Engineering
was held at Noorul Islam Centre for Higher Education on 27th July 2024 to
celebrate the silver jubilee. Ninety-eight alumni participated in the event from
the departments of ECE, EEE, CSE, and Mechanical Engineering of the 1999
batch. The meeting began at 10 a.m. with the lighting of the kuthuvilakku by
Dr. M. K. Jeyakumar, Controller of Examinations, NICHE, Dr. R. Dharmaraj,
Director – Physical Education, NICHE and alumni representatives.
All the faculty members who taught the 1996 batch were honoured with a
memento. All the alumni were also honoured with a memento, presented by
their respective HoDs who taught them during their studies at NICE. The
meeting continued with alumni sharing their memories at NICE, followed by
lunch. After lunch, the meeting resumed with cultural performances by the
alumni, showcasing their talents. The meeting concluded at 4.00 p.m.
The officials of the Noorul Islam Alumni Association, Dr. J. Arul Linsely
(Secretary) and Dr. K. S. Jai Aultrin (Treasurer), helped the alumni in
organizing the event and made it successful. All the support for the meeting was
provided by the management and authorities of Noorul Islam Centre for Higher
Education.
