Hands-On Workshop on Advanced Techniques in Molecular Forensics @ NICHE

The Department of Allied Health Sciences at Noorul Islam Centre for Higher Education, Kanyakumari, successfully conducted a two-day Hands-On Workshop on “Advanced Techniques in Molecular Forensics.” The workshop featured expert-led technical sessions covering key aspects of molecular forensics, including biological evidence collection and preservation, genomic DNA extraction, and DNA visualization techniques. Participants also received intensive hands-on laboratory training, gaining practical exposure and strengthening their technical skills in molecular procedures. The programme served as an excellent platform for students to enhance their knowledge and practical understanding of modern forensic technologies through interactive sessions and laboratory experience.
