Hands-on Technical Workshop on UAV-Based Weather Monitoring at NICHE Kanyakumari

The Department of Aerospace Engineering at Noorul Islam Centre for Higher Education conducted an engaging workshop on Ground-Based Weather Monitoring Satellite Systems using UAV. The programme offered students practical exposure to quadcopter rotor dynamics, drone assembly, flight controller configuration, live flight testing, and real-time sensor data analytics. Through hands-on demonstrations and simulation-based learning, participants gained insights into UAV integration, satellite–ground communication concepts, and advanced weather monitoring technologies. The workshop successfully blended theoretical knowledge with real-world aerospace applications, strengthening technical competence and fostering innovation-driven learning among students.
