Scripting Cinema: An Interactive Session with Scriptwriter Jishnu Sreekumar at NICHE

NICHE University had the privilege of hosting an insightful interactive session titled Scripting Cinema with renowned scriptwriter Jishnu Sreekumar, writer of the successful film Kalamkaval. During the session, Mr. Sreekumar shared his journey in the film industry and offered an in-depth understanding of the technical and creative nuances of scriptwriting, engaging students through a lively and thought-provoking question-and-answer interaction. The programme was organized by the Sukumari School of Multimedia and Film Technology and was graced by the presence of M. S. Faizal Khan, Pro-Chancellor; Tessy Thomas, Vice-Chancellor; Shabnam Shafeek, Executive Director, Noorul Islam Educational Trust; K. A. Janardhanan, Pro-Vice Chancellor (Administration); and A. Shajin Nargunam, Pro-Vice Chancellor (Academic), who formally welcomed and honoured the chief guest. The session proved to be an enriching experience, inspiring students to explore cinema with deeper creative and technical insight.
