IFFK 2025 | Frames That Changed Us

A day at the International Film Festival of Kerala, Thiruvananthapuram, unfolded into a lifetime of inspiration for students of NICHE Kanyakumari. Representing multiple departments, including the Sukumari School of Multimedia & Film Technology and the Film & Photography Club, students did not merely attend a festival—they immersed themselves in cinema as a living, breathing experience. Stories from distant cultures, languages beyond borders, and powerful visual narratives left a lasting imprint, offering lessons no classroom could provide. Through screenings, discussions, shared silences, and meaningful conversations, cinema emerged as a profound teacher—subtle, powerful, and unforgettable. More than an academic visit, the experience became a journey of exposure, exploration, and inspiration, with students returning enriched, creatively awakened, and ready to tell stories of their own.
