Workshop on “How AI is Reshaping Civil Engineering” Empowers NICHE Students with Future-Ready Skills

The Department of Civil Engineering at NICHE conducted an insightful workshop on “How AI is Reshaping Civil Engineering”. The session was led by Ms. Lekha R. L, Technical Manager, CAD Point, who introduced participants to the latest trends and applications of Artificial Intelligence in the civil engineering domain.

Topics covered included AI-based design tools, predictive analysis for construction, and innovations in smart infrastructure. Through practical examples, the speaker illustrated how AI is revolutionizing project planning, execution, and maintenance in modern civil engineering.

A total of 50 participants, including students and faculty members, attended the program and actively engaged in discussions. The workshop received highly positive feedback for its relevance to industry needs, interactivity, and ability to inspire participants to explore AI-enabled solutions for engineering challenges.
