The Department of Automobile Engineering at NICHE organized an insightful technical workshop aimed at bridging the gap between academic learning and industry practices. Held at the department’s smart classroom, the event saw enthusiastic participation from students and faculty members.

The highlight of the session was a guest lecture by the Project Manager from CADD Desk, Marthandam, a renowned organization in engineering design and development. The expert speaker shared valuable knowledge on "Moulding, Tooling, and Management", emphasizing real-world applications and addressing challenges faced in manufacturing and product development industries.

The program commenced with a welcome address by Dr. V.V. Manikandan, followed by an overview of the workshop by Dr. S. Robin Divahar. Participants were introduced to various moulding techniques, the significance of precision tooling in production, and the role of effective resource allocation in modern automotive industries.

The interactive Q&A session helped students gain practical perspectives beyond the classroom syllabus. The department extended heartfelt thanks to NICHE Management, the guest speaker, and CADD Desk for their support in making this event a success. This workshop proved invaluable in enhancing technical expertise and strengthening industry readiness among students.
