The Department of Computer Applications organized a FDP on “Palo Alto Cloud Security Fundamentals” on 13 – 05 – 2024 to 17 – 05 - 2024 in the Department Computer Lab. The FDP focused to faculties on which career path is most suited based on their skill sets. The program started at 10:00 am with the Tamil Thai vazthu at Computer Science Smart class room. Welcome address by Dr. J. R. Jeba, ASP & Head, Department of Computer Applications and Inaugural address by Dr. P. Tirumalvalavan, Registrar of NICHE and chief guest introduction by Dr. J. R. Jeba, Head of the department, Department of Computer Applications. The FDP was presented by Mr. K. Siva Gopal, Technical Trainer, ICT ACT. This FDP focused on the security responsibilities that are always the customer's include managing users and their access privileges (identity and access management), the safeguarding of cloud accounts from unauthorized access, the encryption and protection of cloud-based data assets, and managing its security posture.
