CNG burns cleaner than gasoline or diesel, emitting fewer pollutants such as carbon monoxide, nitrogen oxides, and particulate matter. Converting vehicles to CNG helps reduce air pollution and mitigate the environmental impact of transportation. Converting vehicles to Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) can result in substantial savings on fuel expenses, particularly for high-consumption fleets or vehicles, as CNG generally costs less than gasoline or diesel when compared on an energy-equivalent basis. This conversion can be a pivotal aspect of a comprehensive fleet management strategy aimed at enhancing operational efficiency, cutting costs, and bolstering environmental stewardship.
That sounds like an exciting event! It seems like there was a distinguished lineup of speakers and a significant focus on cutting-edge topics like nanomaterials for agriculture and food. Dr. Tessy Thomas, the Vice Chancellor, inaugurating the International Lecture Series indicates the importance of global perspectives in academia. Dr. Diriba Eticha's felicitation address and Dr. R.S. Rimal Isaac's talk on nanomaterials likely brought valuable insights to the audience. Dr. Lalu Gladson Robin, as the Director of International Affairs, played a crucial role in organizing and convening the program, ensuring its success and relevance on an international scale. It's events like these that contribute significantly to the exchange of knowledge and ideas in higher education.
The Department of Automobile Engineering recently conducted a seminar focusing on the investigation of hybrid honeycomb sandwich panels with incorporated nano clay. The event took place in the department's smart classroom (U304) on March 14, 2024. Dr. M. Edwin Sahaya Raj, Associate Professor of Automobile Engineering, served as the convener and inaugurated the seminar. He also introduced Mr. P.V. Prasanth, the resource person for the seminar. In recent times, there has been a growing trend towards replacing non-degradable composites with natural fiber composites. These natural fiber composites offer biodegradable properties coupled with remarkable strength. During the seminar, various types of natural fibers such as banana fiber, charcoal, paddy fiber, hemp, pineapple, and sisal were highlighted, along with their individual properties and applications. The necessity and benefits of utilizing these natural fibers were thoroughly explained, particularly in the automotive industry where lightweight materials are in demand. Natural fiber composites fulfill this requirement by providing both lightweight characteristics and enhanced strength to automotive structures, including body components, flooring, roofs, and panels. In the automotive sector, panel materials are expected to possess high machinability properties, a requirement effectively met by these composites. Additionally, while floor and column strength are moderately valued, the emphasis remains on minimizing weight. This is crucial for enhancing fuel efficiency in vehicles. More than 35 participants attended the workshop, and a delightful refreshment was provided for their enjoyment.
Event aim to create a collaborative and supportive environment where participants can learn, grow, and be inspired to pursue their higher education goals with passion and purpose. Event is expected to be highly positive, with participants leaving feeling inspired, empowered, and better equipped to embark on their higher education journey with confidence and enthusiasm.

Objective of the Event is Contribution of electronics serves a major part in vehicle system. It enhances safety, performance and maneuverability. All these systems are properly optimized by certain techniques that make the entire vehicle a perfect one. Most job vacancies in the automobile companies are in operations, information-technology, corporate management, human resources, production, body shop, maintenance, mechanical-engineering, sales and service, marketing, finance, customer care, forging, CNC, robotics, logistics, design, etc.
Nowadays, automobile is a club of all engineering. An automobile comprises each and every element from different aspects of engineering. Starting from free hand contour design the automobile-engineering uses all the advance software’s for the complete design and development. Advanced engine technology which has electronic and smart materials has considerably reduced the environmental issues. This advancement has paved way for the advance vehicle that is manufactured in our sub-continent is of export quality that can meet global standards. All the automations and other advance manufacturing process help the automobile to be manufactured precisely which has best quality standards.
Objective of the Event Theme : Ventura Name Meaning. Italian, Spanish, Catalan, Portuguese, and Jewish (Sephardic): from a medieval personal name, a short form of Bonaventura or Buenaventura, meaning 'good fortune', or, in the case of the Italian name, a nickname from ventura 'fortune', 'luck'.
