Realizing the importance of
science and technology which boosts the country’s economic and technological
growth, the government of India, in an effort to bridge the gap between the
people living in rural areas and the higher education, has decided to start
many Universities – aided and self-financed. In recent years, all the
universities have been proactive in recruiting youthful strengths and
optimizing the echelon of their faculty. Noorul Islam Centre for Higher
Education has obtained Deemed University status from MHRD (Ministry of Human
Resource Development) on the advice of UGC on 8th Dec 2008. The
single and solitary goal of NICHE is to cultivate more and more all-round
talents for modern India. Emulating the other successful Institutions of
tertiary and quaternary education across the country, the university has been
carrying out of series of daring experiments to integrate the various
disciplines of learning and to utilize the abundant resources of comprehensive
university. After strenuous work of exploring and practicing, NIU has now
established its own curriculum and management system on par with leading
universities in India and abroad. NIU actively incubates high-tech course and
encourages the learners and students to convert knowledge in to power. Moreover,
NICHE is entrusted with providing education at under graduate and post graduate
level and undertaking scientific research as well as technological transfer. As
a typical institution for basic engineering courses, our programme encompasses
a wide spectrum of research areas and relates to all leading edge studies
currently conducted by its faculty and departments. In addition to appreciable
achievements obtained by pure engineering research, such specific traditional
disciplines as Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and English have seen multi
–disciplinary study findings of high applicability. This has triggered our research
and educational capabilities at par with International Universities and
Research Institutions. Thus NICHE also plays a pivotal role in the growth of
economy, industry and education to make India a knowledge super power.

brains with pristine and precious information but also enhance our ability to cerebrate,
analyze, and process the world around us. It also widens our knowledge, which
in turn unfolds our minds to new perspectives, outlooks, beliefs, and cultures.

Education has succeeded in developing a collaborative atmosphere facilitating
learning, uncovering the best international practices and furthering innovation
and creativity as a centre of higher learning.
I firmly believe that continued efforts will be undertaken by our
University to help students, who are into higher education, by providing them sufficient
opportunities and freedom to be able to use all their knowledge to evolve
themselves into better contributors to the mankind.

The world is
fast changing in the field of knowledge. Educational opportunities and
effective skilling are the need of the hour. Quality education that addresses
the needs of the industry and that enhances employability demands re-engineering
the whole system of higher education.
Our University is thus committed to and
becoming innovative and keeps rapid advancements in science and technology;
including the emergence of Big Data, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence.
A good educational environment is one where every student is made to feel
welcome and cared for, where a stimulating and safe learning environment
exists, where a range of learning opportunities are offered, and where all
students have access to resources that are appropriate for learning as well as
adequate physical infrastructure.
To become a socially
responsible and culturally sensitive country that upholds liberty, equality,
fraternity, and justice for everyone as envisioned by its Constitution, India
must invest heavily in higher education. The nation's ability to maintain
living standards and build its economy depends on the nature of higher
education. As India transitions to a knowledge economy and society, more Indian
youth are likely to pursue higher education.
High-quality
higher education should foster individual success and enlightenment as well as
constructive civic engagement and beneficial social contribution. The abilities
needed for more meaningful occupations and lifestyles should be provided to our
young generation.
A
comprehensive and multidisciplinary education would allow a person to fully
develop his/her intellectual, aesthetic, social, physical, emotional and moral
potentials. We plan accordingly and which will assist in developing well-rounded
persons with crucial 21st century skills in the humanities, social sciences,
professional, technical, and vocational domains, as well as in the arts and sciences.
Our University engages in a comprehensive educational policy which will
eventually be used in all undergraduate and Post graduate programmes, including
those in professional, technical, and vocational sectors.
By giving access to high-quality
education, our nation's abundant resources and talents can be developed and put
to use for the best interests of each individual, society, the country, and the
world.
