Brief Into about Fire and Safety Engineering

Department Profile

The Department of Fire Technology and Safety Engineering was started in the academic year 2011-2012.  It offers the 4-year undergraduate program B.Tech. (Fire Technology and Safety Engineering.) This unique program offers students with the idea to create an environment of safety against fire. Fire and safety explore different means of avoiding fire. It is a science of designing buildings and fire safety and correctly protection fire. Fire engineers design sectors are at the forefront of ensuring that fire safety is maintained and improved without exhausting natural resources or destructing the environment with a vision to create safety awareness in each and every individual in the nation and make safety professionals to empower country safe. Now, safety has become mandatory in all organizations globally. We have a vision and have started our mission to reach an excellent position in the sector to meet all the requirements of safety industries in national and international standards. Our expert team is always on board for public to give a challenging career in safety to become excellent professionals for safest future of nation and individuals.

B.Tech. in Fire Technology and Safety engineering forms an integral part of various process industries like chemical production units, refineries, fluid treatment plants, food and beverage industry etc. To design the piping for such plants needs adequate knowledge, insight and experience. As the industrial sector is poised for an upsurge around the world including India, most of the associated services will have to be scaled up. The curriculum of Fire Technology and Safety includes all the requisite aspects to enter the field of piping design with confidence. Our team of experts include academic as well as industry professionals who stress on incorporating an easy learning pattern with in-depth domain knowledge. The department strives to introduce education to imbibe innovative learn in strategies to make thorough use of one’s strengths and the employment opportunities.
